It is established that the cancellation of the activity by the Caribbean ProDive Center center is possible due to weather reasons or other causes that prevent the normal development of the activity or imply risks for the clients, according to the criteria of the Caribbean ProDive Center, since Safety is our commitment and main objective. In this case, the date may be changed or the amount accumulated as a credit in your account. Caribbean ProDive Center will inform the cause of cancellation of the activity.

In the event that the reservation is made online, THE CLIENT will make a deposit of 20% of the total amount corresponding to the places he wishes to reserve.

In case of cancellation by the client, Caribbean ProDive Center may, at its discretion, change the date of the activity or accumulate the amount advanced as a credit in the client’s account or refund 100% of the deposit. All this if said cancellation is recorded by email (caribbeanprodive@gmail.com) or by the contact lines +573183898967 or +573015515886 with a minimum of 24 hours before the start of the activity.

In case of cancellation within 24 hours of the start of the activity, or no-show on the day and time of the activity, your reservation will be canceled and you will not be entitled to a refund of any amount advanced.

If you haven’t dived for more than 6 months, Caribbean ProDive Center recommends doing an activity to remember diving techniques with us or at any other center. If the dive guide decides to cancel a dive for reasons of deficiency, lack of practice, or any other reason that the guide considers, Caribbean ProDive Center will charge 100% of the price of the dive.

In the case of reservations for any service (diving, baptism diving or snorkeling excursion), if the client decides not to carry out the activity once it has started, to suspend it, or to abandon it for any reason, there will be no refund of the amount. paid, since the diving center has put all the means and services for the realization of the activity.

In the case of reservations for two dives on the same day, in the event that, after making the first dive, the diver decides not to make the second reserved dive, 100% of the value of the reservation WILL BE CHARGED, except in cases of health involving medical assistance.

Cancellation of diving courses:

If the student who is taking a diving course has exchanged the theoretical part online or has done the theoretical part in person, but does not continue with the course, the student must assume the value of the digital product exchanged or the cost of the manual kit and theoretical classes received. In the event that the student has also carried out some practice in the pool or in the sea, he must also assume the value of the practices carried out.

General good practices for carrying out all underwater activities.

1º The Guide Diver of the immersion will assess the weather conditions and the state of the sea before the immersion and will not force its completion if the conditions are not completely adequate.

2º Regularly practice the basic safety exercises and mastery of the equipment with your partner in a maximum of three meters, before the dive. Practice your buoyancy control in low-impact spaces.

3º Be careful with your flapping and contacts with the environment. Do not hit, move or lift fauna or substrate, in case it happens, leave it as it was. If you can’t avoid it and you hit the bottom, don’t fin to regain buoyancy, use your BCD for balance.

4º Do not harm living beings, which includes disturbing, retaining, collecting, fragmenting, splitting, killing, and any other form of harmful action for any purpose. Do not capture or extract plants, marine organisms or their remains (shells, shells, etc.) or archaeological remains.

5º Be extremely careful in caves, caves, inside sunken ships or indoors, whether real or virtual, avoid them if you are not trained.

6º Do not feed the marine fauna.

7º Avoid and actively fight against environmental contamination.

8º Respect other users of the sea.

9º Use only the anchoring buoys.

10º Look for environmental quality, choose small groups and places that are not crowded.
